Why am i being decline for transferring money to bank account?

Hi all, can anyone please tell me why am i being decline for transferring money to bank account? When i register my PayPal account, i used the same bank account, and there is verification money from PayPal to my bank account. Now that i'm trying to withdraw the money from Paypal and send it to my bank account, but i'm being declined. Paypal said is something to do with my bank account, but i had no problem receiving money from PayPal for the verification money from PayPal.. I'm really confused.. Can anyone tell me why?

My bank account is HSBC by the way...

I am not an expert. The employees here might know better than me.

My best guess is;

HSBC is a bank that specialises in Offshore Bank Accounts this could be the reason for the decline of the withdrawal.

Hi there JudithKTaylor,

I've only ever seen withdrawals declined like this when our system has some question over the location of the withdrawals. If you were to try withdraw the funds from a location you wouldn't normally then you may run into this issue.

My advice would be to contact Customer Services as they can give you more details on the withdrawal.
