PayPal Credit rejecting payments?

Its not a major issue until I miss a monthly payment because of it but a few times now i've had my payments rejected when paying my balance, even though funds are there and its coming from a verified account that has been linked to PayPal for years? It even happened once when i was using my PayPal funds!

It also seems to be "pending" for a very long time, anyone else found this?

Hi andym78 and welcome back, 

It sounds like our internal security system is stopping your payments. When you are making your payment be sure that you are logging in from your normal PC or device as this can help. If you are already doing this and still getting an error please contact us by phone so we can help. Just click on the contact us link at the bottom of any PayPal page. 

With regard to the payment pending, it may be the funding source that is being used. If a card is being used then it should go through straight away however if your bank is being used it can pend for a few days.
