Hi! I just recently sent some money abroad through PayPal, and a few days later, recieved an email saying my bank account had insufficient funds for the transaction so they went ahead and charged my debit card instead, which I find strange since said debit card is for the same account which the bank claimed as having insufficient balance. When I checked my balance online, I found that i had more than enough funds for the transaction and that the payment taken from the debit card had gone through. Basically, why was I being flagged as having insufficient funds in the first place?

Hi apd_sunga,
Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum.
We would not know why the bank was produced to us as having insufficient funds. This is information PayPal receives from your bank when we request the funds to fulfill the payment. Please contact your bank to request more information.
