Earlier this week I made my first withdrawal to my bank account and it was virtually instant. Yesterday I made a second but it hasn’t gone through almost 16 hours later. Both amounts were under £100 so I haven’t suddenly started taking extravagant amounts, I haven’t received any notification that this transaction is being reviewed, and I really need this money urgently - I at least need to know how long this is going to take so I can try to make other arrangements if necessary. It’s the not knowing that’s so stressful - if it’s going to take days, why can’t paypal just tell me up front so I know where I stand? I’m checking my bank account every hour or so like an idiot.
Now it’s been 30+ hours, still no notification that a review is taking place, or of what the hold up is, or when/if I’ll get my own money returned to me. 🙃
A withdrawal on PayPal can take from 2-72 hours to complete processing. If a withdrawal hold has been placed on a recent withdrawal, this would have been automated so it would be hard to know the exact reason for the hold.
