Ebay Payment Recieved - No Balance and Can't Withdraw Money

Having a problem with PayPal - I just recieved two payments from Ebay users. PayPal has listed both as 'Payment Recieved', but my balance is currently showing as £0.00?

Is this connected to my card?

The debit card connected to my account has recently expired but I can't add my current one as its listed under another PayPal profile (my parents' one). I've logged on to their profile in an attempt to remove it and add it to my account, but I seemingly can't do that either.

My bank account is the same I've always had and I use it monthly for direct debits, so why can't I see or withdraw my balance?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Have you bought anything and paid for it via paypal since the payments should have gone in??

The reason i ask is that if you have funds in your paypal balance and then buy something then paypal will always take from those funds (as that is now the default funding source), rather than from your normal funding source eg bank account or card.

To check go and click on the word "details" next to any recent paypal buying transaction and see if they were funded from your paypal balance ie buyers payments rather than your normal funding source.
