Delay PayPal taking my money?

Hi, I'm looking into making an online purchase asap, but will not have the full funding in my bank account for a week.

I know with previous purchases where I have used PayPal the funds have not been taken out of my bank account for a week or more after purchase.

Is there a way I can guarantee that if I make a purchase now, PayPal will not request/take the money out of my bank account for a week?

Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum and welcome as a new member!

It sounds like you are referring to Pay After Delivery that is offered by some eBay sellers and merchants. This is not offered on all transactions, it is up to the seller to opt in for the payment method. If the seller accepts Pay After Delivery the funds will not leave your bank account for 14 days.
