What does it say next to the transaction in your paypal account??

1. Completed.

2. Unclaimed.

3. Unclaimed with a cancel option.

It just says Unclaimed. No cancel option.

If the payment sent to a wrong email address, it is best to contact us thought your PayPal account; alternatively form Twitter (@AskPayPal) or from our UK Facebook page. Don't worry, we will review all the help options for you.

Regardless, your payment will automatically be cancelled within 30 days of the payment date if it is not claimed.
