Unable to open PayPal account in Germany!

Recently moved to Germany and wanted to add my German account to my UK PayPal! Apparently, PayPal is area-dependant and I should open another account from Germany registering my address, etc. I tried to do so but an error pops-up " you have already an account, please log-in ". I am frustrated! What should I do? Thank you!

You would need to use a different email address as only 1 email address identifies x1 paypal account.

That is unless you close your UK one first when you then 'may' be able to use the other one.

Thank you for your reply but the problem still exists even when using another email address. Is there any other solution? I need my UK account to remain active.
