Unable to link my bank account

Hi!

I am trying to link my bank account to paypal and it does not allows me because an error writes: "...Try with adifferent bank account, the one submited is inactive",  which is not, as I use it regularly.

Are you trying to link a UK bank account to a UK paypal account and is it a bank paypal are likely to accept ie not savings etc?
