Paypal email verification process not working

I was sent money to an email not linked to paypal

 

I have added the email to paypal

 

I go VERIFY ACCOUNT.. 

 

I get an email saying WITH A BUTTON saying CLICK TO VERIFY

 

I am then asked for my password

 

I enter this correctly

 

It keeps giving me a long error at this point.. i am logged in but the email is not verified..

 

I have fried removing the email and adding again, logging out logging in etc..

 

HOW on earth do i verify this?  btw i have 7 emails on this account so i do know how to verify an email without issue, it seems to be a system error that needs fixing..

The first thing I would recommend doing is trying another browser. Though generally all browsers are fine for you day to day dealings there are some that certain features may not work with,
