Hi there,

My boyfriend created a pay pal account, but when he was filling out the form he missed out the middle initial which is on the bank card...will this have any affect or will he be charged??

Hi, if the card was accepted by the system once it had been submitted, then there should be no problem. We check the card details against the card issuer’s details, and if all is OK, the card is accepted and taken as a legitimate funding source. If there is an issue, here’s how to change your credit card or debit card information:

1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
2. Click ‘Profile’ near the top of the page.
3. Under ‘Financial Information,’ click ‘Credit/Debit Cards.’
4. Click ‘Edit’ next to the card you want to change.
5. Update your information.
6. Enter your card security code.
7. Click ‘Save.’
