So my old debit card expired and I ran the bank to sort out having not received the new one. The rude woman on the phone pointed out I'd been using the new card number on Paypal to make purchases.
I told her that I make purchases by the linked account details, she wasn't that bothered and sorted out a replacement anyway.
So checking afterwards, Paypal do indeed have my new card number - that I don't even have and the card itself is most likely lost in the post - on my account!
Anyone know how they got this information that I don't have that, my bank doesn't even realise they could get?
Thanks to them it looks like I've been making payments on a card I just told them I never received.
