I can't add my bank account to my PayPal

Hello friends,

Kindly bear with me as I'm very new to the PayPal community. I've created a business PayPal account ('Individual Type') in the name of my first name and second name as I don't have a bank account in a business name. When I entered the sort code, it has detected the bank correctly and when I entered my bank account number and press the 'Submit' button, it shows the following error message "We were unable to process your bank account registration at this time. We apologise for the inconvenience. Please try again at a later date."

Please be kind enough to assist me to solve this issue.

Are you trying to link a UK bank account to a UK paypal account?

Is that bank account linked to any other paypal accounts?

Is it a bank account paypal accept ie not a virtual one?
