I live in country A. I own a bank account in country B. Surely this isn't uncommon. However it seems PayPal won't let me set the billing address of my UK account to my correct residential address in the netherlands. Am I missing something or is PayPal simply not for expats?

Paypal is country specific so if you move country you have to open another paypal account in that country and add an address / phone number / and bank accounts from within that country.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

So basically any bank account where the billing address (owner's address) is not in the bank's country is incompatible with paypal? I mean I cannot use my bank account with PayPal. The account is in UK but if I put a UK address as the billing address then verification will fail because the bank knows my real address is in netherlands, but paypal will not let me put an nl address. I cannot win.
