Confrim Card

I recently tried to update my paypal as i have got a different debit card, when adding the card it asked me to "confrim the card", when i press okay it says my card cannot be accepted? Why is this?

Thanks for posting in the forum and apologies for the late reply. Sorry to hear that you are having this issue. It is possible that the small temporary charge that is applied to confirm your card is not being accepted by the card issuer.
