Closing account

Can I close my account and then at some point in the future open a new account in a different name but with the same bank details and email address

As long as you remove your bank accounts etc before you close your paypal account then you can use it on another account.

You 'should' also be able to re-use your email address.

However your name should match the name on your bank account to allow transfers to and from that account.

Thank you. I was advised that I could only open a different account if I used a new email and different bank accounts because PayPal did not allow deletion of accounts only closure so they would keep a the previous details and you would not be allowed to reuse any. Is this not the case then?
