Can't Link Another Card

I already have My checking and Savings account, as well as my card from Bank of America linked to my Paypal account. When I click add a bank, it comes up, but when I click add a card, nothing happens. I have a CapitalOne credit card, but no bank account attached to it that I'm trying to link.

Hi StarCrysisOC,

 

Thanks for posting on the Community Forum and sorry to hear about this.

 

The first thing I would advise doing is contacting your card's issuing bank to ensure that your card is activated and ready for use on PayPal. You might also want to make sure that you speak with the online payment authorisations at the bank, as the general customer support might not have access to view specific details about this type of issue.

 

Once you've done this, please try linking your card again.

What StarCrysis was saying was that s/he couldn't even get the prompt to add another card. S/he clicks on the banner "Link a card" and nothing happens. Nothing at all. How on earth could this have anything to do with her/his specific bank? Whereas when s/he clicks on "Link a bank account" it's all fine and dandy. And I'm currently having the same issue two years later. So, what could be causing it? Any ideas?

I successfully managed to get through to adding my card through the app on my iPhone. It was instant I must be having browser issues, however I resolved my issue, thanks! 🙂

Thank you Intars and thank you GaZ93 - I used the workaround with the mobile app as well. Must have been a bug with the website or sth. Cheers 🙂
