The instructions for the third option (triggering a by-mail alternate address confirmation through the PayPal web site) currently do not work.

Following the link path under Seller Protection eventually leads to https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_account-aac&fli=true ("Alternate Address Confirmation (U.S. Accounts Only)")  .  Following the "Add a New Address" link on that page leads to an error page headed with "Sorry — your last action could not be completed."

This is our second home and we have had numerous ebay orders delivered here as well as our primary home.  Why wouldn't these deliveries confirm the address of our second home?

As usual with Paypal/eBay the instructions for changing something as simple as a confirmed address are needlessly complex and, as expected, don't work. What a total waste of my time. According to eBay sellers should not ship to an unconfirmed address BUT paypal will accept funds from an seller with an unconfirmed address. I've been using eBay since 1998 (yep, the beginning) and all I want to do is chance by confirmed address at my home in a new town - but no the endless loop instructions won't take me to the appropriate place to make the change. Maybe it's just me but the system looks as if it was developed by someone with a truly sadistic sense of humor. Guess that's why I do most of my business on Amazon.com ....
