Welcome to the community forum.
I am sorry to hear that you are having an issue with your phone number. Each PayPal account is country specific so I recommend checking that you have opened an account in the right place. If that is correct make sure that you are not adding the country code, that is something we add for you and putting it in again will cause an issue.
