HI,

I HAVE A UK PAYPAL ACCOUNT BUT WHEN I HAVE TRIED TO PURCHASE GOODS TODAY IT IS ASKING FOR MY ACCOUNT DETAILS AND PASSWORD IN GERMAN?  WHY IS THIS HAPPENING AND HOW CAN I CHANGE IT BACK TO UK LANGUAGE? HAS MY ACCOUNT BEEN HACKED?

Could be?

Can u change your password and security questions?

Call ppal dont select any option hold on until u speak to someone asap

Close the page restart your computer and try logging in again

Maybe u could do a  virus scan first before trying to log in again

Let me know what happens

Could be a browser problem if you have recently been on a German website.

Go and clear your cache ie history / cookies etc, then re-boot and try again.

If not try another browser and see if it is still a problem.

I WILL DEFINITELY TRY YOUR ADVICE AS I DID FOLLOW THE PREVIOUS ADVICE OF CHANING MY PASSWORD AND SECURITY QUESTIONS BUT I AM STILL HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM?

WEIRDLY, IT IS ONLY HAPPENING WHEN I TRY TO PURCHASE GOODS ON THE 'GROUPON' SITE?? AS I PURCHASED OTHER GOODS LAST NIGHT VIA EBAY AND HAD NO PROBLEMS AT ALL.

Does this happen when u only open 1 page which would be the groupon site?

i have tried to purchase at least three different items on the groupon site and this problem occurs everytime??

i have directly approached paypal about this too but to date i have not yet received a response from them

Try googling the problem or try asking for help from your software supplier eg windows 7 etc
