Making a complaint about poor Paypal customer service - time?

I made a formal complaint, as the account was supposed to have been closed, but Paypal didn't action it.

As a result, the account was used again and now is owing money. Long story, but this would not have happened had Paypal actioned the account closure when asked to do so and we were told this would happen.

A formal complaint about poor customer service was made 10 days ago, but no reply has been recieved. In the meantime, the payment was attempted from the bank but there are (as expected) no funds and the Paypal account is showing a minus figure. This will be rectified in time, but not immediately.

The complaint stated that the situation would lead to a "minus" balance, so we would have hoped that looking into the complaint might have been expedited, but we have not even had any kind of acknowledgement.

What normally happens when an account is left in a minus state for any length of time?

Why not give customer services a call to resolve things?

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent OR just say the word 'Agent'".
In the UK its free from any landline phone.

OR have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.

It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPalUK and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
