"It should be available in your Paypal account"?

Similar to an earlier post that was left unresolved ...

I returned an item and requested a refund. Ebay gave me a message with the above quote, but there's no refund showing either in my Paypal account, or on my credit card.

The seller refunded return postage separately, that is showing up in my Paypal balance.

The original purchase was funded by my credit card, not my Paypal balance.

I just noticed an eBay change where my purchases are being billed (via Paypal) to my credit card, without my going through an additional Paypal login as I used to. Not sure if that is relevant to this.

Thoughts?

a reversal/credit transaction could take 3-7 days,up to 30 days to show up on your credit card.

Ah, thanks. It's been four days, I'll give it a few more. Weird since the shipping refund showed up within hours.
