I recently registered on eBay and tried to resurrect my PayPal account from many years ago. I knew my email but not my password. Everything I tried to do to recover or reset my password ended in an error message so I setup another email account and used it to open a new PayPal account. Then I put an item on eBay which is about to close. I just realized that the listing has the old PayPal email specified for payment and it's too late to change it. I went into PayPal to add it to the new account but I couldn't do it because that email is still in the system as belonging to an active account which I can't access. How do I get paid when this listing closes?
