Linked e-bay & Paypal accounts with same password

I wanted to know whether or not the accounts would still 'work' if I gave them seperate passwords.

Having read all previous comments I'm wondering if my question could also be the answer?

I linked accounts 7 years ago without issue. I have never had a problem despite changing email addresses on both accounts several times since.

I used the 'Sign in with a single use code' which meant 1 password, the same for both accounts.

If that is the answer, then I guess my linked accounts will not work if I try to give them both seperate passwords?

I think I will leave mine with a single use password as it's served me well for 7 years!

ebay and Paypal are 2 different companies,neither care if you use the same password,as long as it meets its password requirement
