A month ago, I sold a macbook pro on ebay, and during the bidding time, there's a customer ask can I send it to Vietnam. so I sent a money request to him via paypal. At that time, I noticed that his paypal name is different from ebay's. He said it's his wife's paypal. He gave me money, and I sent macbook to Vietnam.

TOday! I recieved a open case email from paypal said that the buyer stated that they did not authorize the purchase. and ask me to give them the proof that I did send out the product. My question is I did send product as he requested on ebay, but his address on paypal is different from what he asked for. Can I still win the case?? Im so annoyed right now. Someone please help! Thank you

  Hi Friend,

I hope you didn't get rip off. That's why some of us don't ship or sell to those countries, even if you get more sales it's not worst it, sometimes they will claim they didn't get the item or it was broken just to get a refund and keep the item.I try not to sell outside the USA.And ebay will make you give a refund even if is not your fault. It' just my opinion.

Hi Jiewei,

Sorry for the delay! After speaking with an eBay specialist, this is considered a chargeback which is in PayPal's department & not eBay's department. Best advise we could give you is to talk to PayPal customer support & show them tracking information & if they see that it was delivered to the address they told you to ship it too then, that might be able to work but, again this will be handled by PayPal support not eBay. We also recommend that you always ship to the address provided on file from the buyer & never ship to a different address as since you shipped to a different address thats not on file then, your not protected by the seller protection & this case wont be in your favor UNLESS PayPal accepts the tracking information as proof. Best of luck to you & have a good one! ~AG.
