Sent in documents to resolve limitations, can I buy on eBay if I have a linked debit card?

Hi all. I have just created my Paypal account, and I had to send in some documents (Proof of address, photo ID, and proof of SSN). I assume these are standard for anyone wishing to buy on eBay using a Paypal account. My question is this: the only thing that it says I can't do with my account is add money to it - if I have a debit card linked to it, can I buy on eBay using my Paypal? As in, can I not worry about adding money and Paypal will just draw from my debit card? I just don't want to make a purchase on eBay and not be able to pay for it.

Welcome to the Community!

You sure can! The process you're undergoing only prevents you from manually adding money into the account until it's completed.  You'll still be able to use any other account feature, so shop away!
