unlinking account number

Hello nice people

Could somebody help me, please? How technically I can unlink my bank account number from PayPal? I am trying several times, but I am not able to do it:-(. Is simply no option available, or I can not find it.

Welcome to the PayPal Community Help Forum! Sorry to hear you're having trouble removing your bank. Are you receiving an error message? I've not heard of any instances where the option just isn't there. The only thing I can think of where that might happen is, depending on the country you're registered in, we may require a bank to be on file for you to be able to operate your account. You may need to add another bank before you'd be able to remove the old one.

Hello, I'm currently in USA but I need to close my bank account since we are moving to EU. My Bank of America told me that I can't close the account since Paypal must allow me to remove it. I don't want to ay monthly fee to the bank just to keep my paypal. Where we are moving I will add new account, link new card and change country. Until then I have 2 weeks to figure out or Paypal to help me how to close even paypal account if needed and that is the only way to stop bank charging me. Thank you, any help appreciated

If you are in a hurry for a solution, why not call PayPal customer service so an account specialist can look at your account?  Use a one-time passcode for better service.
