unable to link bank account

I've tried linking my bank earlier in the year and it wouldn't work. I tried shutting my account down and making a new one but this message keeps popping up when I try to link my bank.

"Sorry, we’re unable to link that bank because it is disabled. Please try another bank."

Called my bank to see if they could do anything but they have not recvied any notifications from paypal being denied access to link my account to paypal...

If you had a problem with your bank account previously then you will need to phone PayPal support to fix it.

Did you set up a new PayPal account?  If so, did you remove bank and credit card data before you closed the old one.

what bank,what country?

name on account should match exactly

As I posted earlier, you need to phone PayPal support to fix this bank issue.
