How do I change the name of my business?

Here's how to change the name of your business:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the Business Profile icon beside "Log Out" and select Profile and settings.
3. Click My business info.
4. Click Change next to Name.
5. Select Business Name Change (business name).
6. Click Continue to complete the instructions.

Note: Depending on the name change you are making, you may be required to upload or fax documentation.

Hi There, thanks for the info, however, when I go to my Profile and follow these steps, I do not have an option to Update Business name.... ???? What do I do now???

I don't have the ability to change my business name either when I follow these instructions.  I can change other info related to the business (addresss, phone #'s etc.) but not the actual NAME of the business.  

Any other thoughts?

If you're trying to change the name of the business (not the contact person name), try these steps:

Here's how to change the name of your business:

1. Log into your PayPal account.
2. Click the Business Profile icon beside "Log Out" and select Profile and settings.
3. Click My business info.
4. Click Update next to "Business information."
5. Click Change name next to "Business Contact Name."
6. Select "Your Business name has changed" and click Continue.
7. Enter your new business name and click Continue.

I contacted PayPal via their FB page & got back a different link that DID allow me to change my business name.

Click on the 'contact' link at the bottom of the page for options.
