adding a card

I have tried to add a new card as my old card expired and wouldnt let me edit it, so i deleted it and have been trying to add a new one but it keeps coming up saying we are sorry but we cannot process this this request, try later....

 

Is it my bank that is making it not work is it Paypal????

That is certainly a frustrating situation. I'm glad that you have reached out to the community for assistance. 🙂 

 

PayPal places a $1.00 USD authorization on a card each time it is attempted to be added to PayPal. If the $1.00 USD authorization is declined by the card issuing bank, a generic error message is provided and the card is not able to be added. You will need to contact the card issuing bank to ask why the card is being declined. Once the card issuing bank approves the $1.00 USD authorization, the card will be able to be added successfully.
