What does 'Checking' mean?

Hello. I just added a Bank Account to my Paypal and under Account type it says 'Checking.' What does this mean? Do I need to do something about this or do I just wait it out? Thank you!

It means its a checking account rather than a savings account.

You can write checks with it etc.

checking means that they're putting a check mark on the bank .. 😄

naa just joking.. it's the other classfication of bank type..

checking means that you will have a checkbook from your bank so that youcan write the amount if your going to make a payment // savings is ... your personal money which is "SAVING" for your future..

im not sure how to elaborate it further but.. you'll get the point.
