Use PayPal Without Credit Card?

I'm trying to make money through a freelancer website and don't have a bank account. I saw that they can pay me through PayPal so I signed up. However, I see that I need to link a credit card to my PayPal account in order for it to work! Is there any way to use PayPal as a standalone service or is this not possible? Any solutions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

You can't circumvent PayPal security and risk avoidance policies.

You comply with PayPal policies if you want too use PayPal for services.

If not  you can find a different payment processor or just use cash if you want to stay anonymous.
