Unable to add a bank account to my paypal account

I'm trying to add a bank account to my paypal account so I can withdraw my paypal funds and keep receiving a message saying "we're unable to add your bank account right now, please try again later". What is the deal with this, and how can I go about adding this information to my account so I can process a withdrawal of my account balance? I've been having this problem for 3 days so it doesn't seem like a temporary issue that will go away on its own.

Are you linking a U.S bank account to a U.S paypal account.

yes, it is a US bank account and a US paypal account

Strange then, some suggestions.

1. Try clearing your cache / history etc and re-booting.

2. Try another browser?

Failing that contact customer services and see if they can add it for you.

Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary page and use the phone option if there is one in the country you are in.

OR have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?

Same worries here. I get "You cannot add a bank at this time." when I try to add a US bank account. Any PayPal support here, who can help with the set up?
