Hey everyone
I'm a freelancer and I work online. Basically, I conduct business via email. I send people my work - they send money into my PayPal account after I'm done.
Pretty simple, right?
Well, sadly it is not. Since PayPal somehow manages to keep complicating things quite consistently, this is starting to become incredibly difficult.
And now, it seems like I'm forced to wait 20-30(?) days for the funds to go from pending to available, because my clients and I can't confirm anything on PayPal (used to be able to bypass this issue via the "mark as processed" thing, can't do that any more). Unacceptable. I can't afford to wait that much.
So I have a few questions about paypal.me:
1) If someone sends me money, is it instantly available or does it get stuck in the pending balance, again?
2) How does this affect the fees?
3) Does the other person need to have a paypal.me profile or can they just use their regular account?
4) Anything else I should be aware of?
