No way to change primary email

It's over a year now I have tried to change my primary email on Paypal.  I have sent several emails to the Paypal contact and never ever received even an answer!  Paypal does NOT allow you to modify or eliminate the primary email.  You can add as many you want or modify all the others but not the primary.  I urgently need to do this lest I will have to cancel my Paypa account.

Add the new one > make that one primary > delete the old one.

Oh Kernowlass, thank you so much!  I was just insisting on the primary one and didn't even try to do anything with the secondary one.  Done now.  You're a star 🙂

I have changed my email address because th old email address at kornet.net is closing down very shortly.

I have no ideahow my email address became my user name

I attempted to change my email address but the form says primary email cannotbe changed.

What do I do Now?

All PayPal user names are email addresses.

Add a new email address first, then go back and make it your primary one by clicking the pencil icon, then go back in and delete the other one you are not using.
