Is it possible to verify the customer's country?

Hello,

I am using PayPal business account, and my customers pay through PayPal "buy now" buttons on my website. 

For VAT-purposes I need to know whether my customer is EU-based. What is the easiest way to verify that?

I don't ask for the shipping address because I am selling services, not physical goods.

In the transaction info I only see the name and email of the sender, but not the country. It only says: "The sender of this payment is Non-US - Verified".

Is it possible to verify whether the client is EU-based? So that on the transaction instead of Non-US verified it would state something like "Non-EU verified/EU-verified"?

Any other suggestions how to do it?

Hi @Amna_,

Good question. Currently, there's not a method like that to determine if a buyer is from an EU country, sorry. The buyer will need to provide that info to you.
