I am not receiving emails with numeric coe to change password, I have checked SPAM and Paypal is not blocked and I cannot change my prime email to see if I can get the code sent to an alternate email address. Any suggestions?
I was asked to pick a secondary verification method, so either a text or call to my mobile. However, I no longer have that mobile, so cannot receive that text or call. What can I do? Your help greatly appreciated.
For the last two days I've been trying to update my password.
I go to https://www.paypal.com/myaccount/settings/password/edit/, enter the old and new password, click Change Password and I get:
I've tried the same page to update my password also. I use a password generator, and I'm required to right click on the password lines for it to work. Right click on the current password line and then right click on the "generate password and confirm lines". It doesn't work. It worked at one time because I used to to create the current password. I should be able to copy the password from my password vault and paste it into the "current password" line, but the context menue has no "paste" line.
Only got the standard how to change the password boilerplate emails from support.
FInally figured it out for myself - my new password contained spaces!
I think the error message should have suggested there was something wrong with my new password or had a little prompt about what constitutes a valid PayPal password.
Instead the message implied there was a technical issue on the back end.
