Goods and Services account to Friends and Family account.

Hi,

I have a premier paypal account. I want to use it for the purpose of sending my friend some money. However, I somehow have a goods and services account. I have to select a purpose code - else it will it not function.

I would like to know how to switch my account to the friends and family one - as my transactions will be of this nature.

Someone from PayPal or someone who knows how to fix this issue - please respond. I have scoured through archives and found nothing to be helpful so far.

In the U. S. there is no such account as a goods & services account.

Do you have a bank account and credit card linked to your account?

How much have you actually purchased using goods/services?

How much have you actually sold using goods/service?

How long have you been a PayPal member?

Have you ever received funds as friends/family?

Have you ever had any disputes with PayPal?

Perhaps your account is at risk and PayPal will not allow you to use friends/family?

Since you haven't provided details about your account, you should phone PayPal support for help.
