How do I change my e-mail account, as when I try to alter it ,it says can't alter primary account, as I have not had this e-mail address for nearly two years now.

Add your new one (you can have 8 on one paypal account) > make the new one primary > remove the old one.
It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
