Bank Account Unconfirmed - How to Confirm?

Hello!

I just recently saw on the PayPal App that my bank account is unconfirmed and so to confirm it I should log on to the website. And so I did but when I selected my bank account, I noticed that my account type is checking. And I couldn't find any instructions or buttons to confirm my bank account. How should I go about this?

I have done the steps to verify my paypal account. Link my bank account and got the 4 digit pin code. My account status is even listed verified. It's just disappointing since last week (March 19) I transferred funds from my paypal to my bank account but after the week was over the transaction was rejected and my funds were returned to my Paypal with a deduction (cuz of the returning fee) and an email was sent to me saying that my bank account information was invalid. I checked my info and found no error, my friends advised me to make the transfer again since one of them had the same experience, and so I did. It has been 3 days and Paypal has notified me that the transfer was completed but when I checked my bank account, the money isn't there. And as I checked my paypal account on the app that's when I saw  that my bank account is unconfirmed.

I really hope someone could help me on this :'(

Hi po!

Even though I link my paypal with a different bank account (specifically EastWest), mine also stated "Checking" as the account type. And I had no problems with it so far. Just make sure you entered the right bank account number.

Basically, paypal would say the transfer will be done after 2-4 days but in my experience the money I transfer from paypal to my bank account arrives after 2 days. Also note that paypal charges a fee of 50 pesos if you transfer money that is less than 7000 pesos to your bank account. And with my friend's experience there is also a fee (150 pesos) that bpi charges when you transfer money to them thru paypal.

Hi, is it okay not receive an email from paypal stating the money is in my bank account now? Have you had this experience? I logged on to my Paypal and it says the money transfer I made to an unconfirmed bank account (bdo) has completed. But I did not receive an email regarding that. Thanks a lot!

When paypal states that the transfer is completed it means the money is forwarded to your bank and you have to wait for 2-4 days for it to be reflectd on your bank account. The only email paypal would send during this process is that they are transferring money to your bank account and you have to wait for the said days. They won't be emailing if it is in your bank account. I think it's beyond their scope. 

The only way for you to check if it is in your bank account is to check your account. I guess BDO has an online service (the only ones I've tried are BPI and EastWest) that shows how much balance you have in your bank account. That's were I usually check whether or not the money I transferred from paypal had arrived. Or you could check on ATMs.

I have received the funds in my bank account. When i transferred it to eastwest bank last monday until now(wednesday) the status states that "transfer of funds - pending"  

how long does it take to process or withdraw the funds if it is transferred to eastwest bank?

i just tried BPI. And upon transferring after a day or 2 i guess the status became "transfer of funds -completed" then after 2 days The fund is already available for withdrawal.

I had experienced the same problem before and the reason for it (in my case) is that the bank account number I connected with paypal is wrong.

I suggest that you log on in EastWest's online banking and use the account number being displayed there. And about the funds you have transferred, if you have entered the wrong bank account number, PayPal will send the money back to your Paypal account but a fee will be deducted to it. You have to wait for a week though for it to be returned.

It would be better that you'll contact Paypal about this transaction since in this way they can help you directly and your funds maybe returned sooner. And they can investigate even further why this transation isn't completed yet since it also takes just 2 days for funds to be transferred to EastWest from Paypal.

Hi. I'm new in paypal and just linked a bank account. Same as others, it says "checking" in my account. I have to send payment for a merchandise but I can't. I can't also confirm my bank account. What do I do? Thanks.

checking or saving ,I dont think it matters.

ACH takes 3-4 days in USA,take longer in other countries like Canada.

Also in USA,there is no fee involved.
