Account limitation

Hello, my account has been limited since 2016. It says that I have reached a usage milestone with an account balance of 5000 MYR, when in fact, I only have 2540.14 MYR and had certainly never reached beyond 5000 MYR.

I wanted to withdraw my money and close my Paypal account, but I can't because of the limitation. I contacted Customer Service through email, and they preceded to hold back my funds for 180 days, saying that they will give me further instructions after the given time. That 180 days ended around February 2018 and I still have not received any "instructions". What's the next step? And why are they limiting my account in the first place?

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in. Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent OR just say the word 'Agent'".

OR have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?

You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.

It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.
