changing primary card

With the new layout, I cannot find how :

1. to change my primary Visa card since I have two on 

2. Does linking my bank account overide my credit cards?

hope someone can help, this new layout is quite frustrating.

1. Wallet top of summary page.

2. Your bank account would become the default funding source. 

But you can change it to a card DURING the payment process by clicking on "other funding options" and selecting whatever card you want to use.

I don't see a way on the wallet to change the primary card.  I have two cards, and it won't let me remove one, never has, even with months between use it tells me I can't remove it while charges are pending.  I want it to charge the other card, and on the wallet the other card is listed first, but it always charges the card it won't let me remove.  I don't see an option on the wallet page to change precedence, and if I edit the cards it shows the card details but doesn't have an option for precedence in there either.  What am I missing here?  🙂

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click "Wallet" at the top of the page.
3. Click "Classic Site" at the bottom of the page.
4. Click "My money" in the left hand column.
5. Click "Update" in the Debit and credit cards section.
6. Click "Edit" for the card you want to make primary.
7. Click on the "Make primary" check box.
8. Click on the "Save" button.

There is no "Classic Site" link anywhere on the Wallet page. How do I access the site?

go to your profile settings, the gear icon on the upper right , then click Payments , check the primary payment method you want to use.

Found a way to change the primary card, I think.

1. Click on the "gear" button on top which is your Profile.

2. Go to "Payments" on top.

3. Click on "Preapproved Payments" under "Manage upcoming payments".

4. Look for a small label "Set Available Funding Sources", just above the line with the columns, "Merchant", ..."Status","Details" and click on it.

5. Here, you'll find the options to change to whichever card you want for your next payment which should be as good as changing your "primary card".

Wonder why it has been hidden beneath all this rubbish!
