Why is my account in Chinese?

My homepage and everything I try to access is in Chinese. On occasion my browser will let me translate the page but that doesn't solve the root problem. I tried locating a customer service number and that was also in Chinese. Please help.

Are there language options at the bottom right of the PayPal main page.  Mine shows English, French, Spanish options.

If I'm logged out and go to the Paypal homepage it shows up in English with the US flag at the bottom of the page where I could change the language settings if I chose. However, when I actually log into my account everything switches to Chinese. There is no longer any flag that shows up nor is there anyway for me to read the page. I most definitely do not read the Chinese language.

Can't help anymore other than attempt to contact PayPal by email for from Facebook.

Delete cookies and browsing history and re-boot and that sometimes sorts it.

Unfortunately, I've already tried that to no avail. I've tried other computers entirely with the same results.

Try clearing your internet history / cookies etc and rebooting.

 

Then read the moderators reply on the link below.
