Yesterday I get an email from PP states my payment (my first one) is available for withdrawal.

I log in to my account that is in normal standing and I try towithdraw the ammount to my linked bank.

Guess what ? Not only this does not happen but my account was set at limited status and there is an requirement to confirm my i.d. that was never show before !

Your account access has been limited for the following reason(s):

  • Mar 16, 2015: EU regulations require that we collect and confirm your account information.

(Your case ID for this reason is PP-003-786-531-9xx.)

  • Apr 2, 2015: Your card issuer let us know that there is an issue with the debit or credit card linked to your PayPal account. It may have been reported lost or stolen.

Please contact your credit card company for more information.

(Your case ID for this reason is PP-003-824-244-8xx.)

I immediately call my CC issuer and my card is in normal standing and ofcourse NOT reported lost or stolen.

I am wonder if this is a another trick created from PP to hold your money longer ?

I have inform my bank about this and they will take care of it soon.
