Money not on my card?

I called PayPal to see if my money was up there but they said there was no money in the card. But when i sign into my account the money is right there.

Can i only use the money online or do i have to verify something to put it in the card.

A paypal debit card.

I ordered one and signed up with it online, my money is on my account but not on my card.

When you pay using your PayPal Debit Card, funds in your PayPal account are used first. You can select a backup funding source for your debit card to cover the purchase if the amount exceeds your available balance.  Note, the funds are not loaded to the card like a prepaid card, the card is basically used in place of writing checks as it's a debit card.
