Add US shipping address to Canadian Account

 Hi,

I reside in Canada, however my father resides in the USA. I would like to use my paypal to purchase a gift for my father from an online US retailer using my paypal account and have it shipped to my father for his birthday.

How do I add my fathers address in my paypal shipping address list? It seems to only let me add Canadian addresses.

You can't add "international" addresses to a paypal account.

Why would they remove the function, it was available at one time?

I'll likely close my account with paypal, as I don't really use it otherwise.

As far as i am aware you have never been able to add an international address to another countries paypal account.
