accepting payment????

i have an item listed in kijiji local classifieds worth 3000.00 and buyer emailed me interested in the item but want to pay with pay pal and have someone pick it up from my location. now i have never used this before so i dont know how that works....is this legit or is there anyway he could be scamming me? how do i get the funds once he has sent them? is there a hold on the funds?? please help lol

You send him an invoice through PayPal. Don't give him your information. Scam!!!

INTERESTING!!!! I am in a similar boat and my spidey senses were tingling so I came to this forum.  I am being offered $900 for an item on Kijiji and was asked to accept payment via Paypal which Ido not have.  he says he wants to have someone pick it up and then it will be shipped internationally.  Smells fishy.  What is the name they are using?
