Hi,
Ive had my personal account for a while now, bought and sold items on ebay.
I've also sold services and have been paid without any problems, and I was changed the 2.9% + 0.30 fees.
Does this mean I was automatically upgraded to a premium account? Where do I see which account type I have?
I'm about to launch a new online product (next week) and am wondering if I'll be able to sell to many users.
I did some test transactions and in some cases, paypal asks the buyer to create a paypal account.
Do I need a premium account so buyers can buy using their credit card, without having to create an account?
Thanks guys, any tips would be greatly appreciated.

You are not allowed to actually sell on a personal account but the only way paypal triggers its a personal account and you are selling is if you get credit card payments, after 3 they tell you to upgrade.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Ok, just found that my account type is set to Premier, so I guess I can receive payments for non-tangible goods (ebook)?
Am I good to go?
Thanks guys

Ok Thanks. So i've read a little more and my account was actually upgraded automatically to a Premier account (since I received credit card payments). There are no monthly fees for Premier and Business accounts:
https://www.paypal.com/ca/cgi-bin/?cmd=p/gen/fees-outside
The only monthly fees a Paypal account could have is for Website Payment Pro and Virtual Terminal accounts

Thanks
