Need help with International Invoicing please!

Hello!

I live in Canada, and am looking to send an invoice to a client who lives in the UK. 

I am wondering if I send her an invoice for x amount of Canadian Dollars, if the invoice changes the currency to Greater British Pounds for her, or if her bank account/credit card will automatically change the currency for her when she makes her payment?

How does this work? Do I need to send her the invoice in GBP instead of Canadian Dollars and then change the currency myself?

Looking for the easiest way to do this!

Hi @Kait2014,

That's a great question! 🙂

If you send the invoice and request CAD and she pays through the invoice, any currency conversion will fall on her side and you will receive CAD. 🙂
