I'm really worried the seller is a fraud and he's going to send me someting significantly different than what I ordered
he give me a tracking number by Instragram DM
but tracking number still not tracked during 4days
so i open the case ( seller does not shipped item )
but seller still not response .
i want to escalate my case to claim , but
i heard about the scam
that once i claim ( reason was seller does not shiped item )
seller has provided a tracking # to paypal
but got a definitely wrong stuff
i think i'm in this situation.
i think he already make shipping rabel and after escalate dispute to claim,
he has provided a tracking # to paypal
All I'm saying is that can i change the reason of claim?
[ seller doesn't ship ] to [ seller sent wrong item ]
after i got a item from seller .

Yes there is an option to change a dispute from non receipt to not as described IF you receive it.
But don't forget to escalate the dispute to a claim if you have not received it so you get your refund because 'if' it arrives AFTER you have had a refund it is easy enough to re-pay the seller if the item is ok.
